Winging it!

Dangling from the bottom of this necklace is a pendant that I call a "Pegasus Wing" which was created with bronze metal clay.  It dangles from a fine silver metal clay lentil bead.  Both attach to a beautiful  black and bronze colored Robert Jennick lampworked glass bead which I purchased at the Bead & Button show several years ago.  Two five-inch columns of peyote stitched bronze and gun metal Delicas have been added to a medium weight snake chain along with a tiny beaded bead on one side.  It's a rather versatile necklace...I can remove the pendant and slide on something else in its place on a whim.  The color of the columns go well with mixed metals.  I really like to mix and match pieces and I find that my personal jewelry collection has many loose pendants that can be added to different types and lengths of chain.  I've finished this piece with a fine silver metal clay toggle closure.
