They are finished and….

I'm more than pleased with these drop earrings! Because they remind me of ripe, luscious, juicy exotic fruit, I've titled this design "Forbidden Fruit". Comprised of Delica, seed, Magatama and Japanese Drop beads, they are surprisingly light in weight and I love how they swing and sway with the slightest turn of my head! Suspended from antiqued sterling silver earwires, my handmade wire-worked steel stem components are wrapped with polymer clay in vine-like fashion…the tutorial will show how to create these drop stem components as well! They insert into the beaded drop just before completing the final rows. Now I'm in the midst of proofreading and tweaking the tutorial while making another pair in a cool lavender and green colourway to test the instructions. The tutorial should be finished and listed in my Etsy shop in a few days. I'll also have a beading kit available…stay tuned!
