And I've decided, no doubt about it, this is one of the most enjoyable beading projects I've done in a long time. There is no absolutely no monotony in working this design because I'm constantly changing the numbers of beads and color combinations in each segment. I love the way the coral just pops out in contrast to the sand and fuchsia and metallic seed beads! I'm to the point of adding the pearls to the "barnacle" chambers. These too, vary in size and color. Looking at the cuff now, I think this could be stunning if I made it wider than the first cuff which measured about one inch in width. If I doubled the width of this cuff and used two seashell buttons at the closure, it could be really gorgeous. Yes, that's what I'm going to do! So I guess it's only a quarter finished but will be worth the extra time spent, plus I'll have a different version to offer as a jewelry kit. I really can't wait to wear this one!
