Resin and Polymer Clay with a Musical Theme

Oh, how lovely is the music!   "Musica" is the title of this petite pendant.  The "Musica" theme is stamped in polymer clay and set in a bronze picture frame bezel suspended from a hammered argentium silver bail.  A tiny piece of sheet music is embedded in resin along with an airy swirl of glitter (I like to think of it as magical fairy dust!)  and it is set in a sterling silver triangular bezel that swings to and fro like a metronome.  The pendant glides along a hammer textured bronze neck ring.   This past weekend has been filled with music - I made this pendant while listening to Miles Davis on my ipod and Steve Spurgin, guitarist, singer-songwriter extraordinaire was our house guest.    We really enjoyed his performance at the Irish Cottage in Galena, IL.  Indeed a rare treat!  Check him out at www.SteveSpurginMusic.com.
