Metal Work - Lone Star Long Heart 1 - Earring

You may have already guessed that my first project using the new star-cutter set I recently purchased would be another pair of earrings...and yes, this pair features die-cut hearts (I just love heart-themed jewelry!).  The top layer of each earring is made of hammer-textured, patinated sterling silver and bezel set with two cabochons of gold and green Paua shells and a tiny Sleeping Beauty Turquoise cabochon. A star is cut out at the top making visible the bronze under layer. Measuring 2.5" in length and .75" in width, both layers are separated by 1mm spacer beads and cold-connected with brass rivets.
