Love is in the air!

One of the best things about having a wedding anniversary (our twentieth!) on Valentine's day is that so many others are celebrating love along with you!  It feels like you've been invited to a huge love festival with hearts and flowers everywhere!  I've always liked heart themed jewelry!  Shown is a  brooch I made when I was heavily into enameling back in the late 1990's.  Made of silver, 14k gold, 18k gold bimetal and accented with a garnet, the focal heart is filled with a mix of brightly colored enamels. With its long "tail" of green jasper, this piece is aptly titled "Feeling High as a Kit".
