Like gazing into a tide pool...

I envision tiny jewels of the sea - moss and algae growing on craggy rocks, broken bits of colorful shells, and shiny little fish darting about when I look at this piece. This "cosmic cabochon" brings all that to mind. It is surrounded by patinaed silver, which I've hammer textured to resemble a sea urchin. The coiled wire at the top serves as a bail, while the ends of the wire become pin stems. My "Sea Flower" pin/pendant is a versatile mixed-media piece, one that I can display in a shadow box when not worn. I've documented the creation of this piece and am presently editing the step-by-step instructions, which will be accompanied by photos.  To see more resin cabochons check out myEtsy shop.
