Inspiration

I'm often asked what inspires me and my answer is always "Almost everything!" and that'

s really true.  Recently a collection of medieval designs resulted from watching "The Tudors" series.   Dreams influence my work and so does travel - espeically to tropical locales!  Myexperiences seep into my subconscious and present themselves in new designs.  Of course,  nature always inspires me.  This is a photo taken from my studio several nights ago.  The tundra-like expanse in the foreground is the frozen Mississippi river and beyond that is Iowa.  The sunsets from my studio are always spectacular!
