Ice Fishing!

This is a novel bracelet that I made for the Brio Gallery trunk show last week.  I've titled it "Ice Fishing" which could be interpreted as meaning the kind of ice fishing one digs a hole in the ice to do, or ice fishing as in "diamonds are a girl's best friend".  The "ice" is actually carved 1/4" Plexiglas™  sheet which I then sanded to a translucent matte finish and attached to pieces of 18k gold bi-metal sheet with tiny brass nuts and bolts.  A darkened brass fish and a fish tail are featured as well as a nugget of rutilated quartz wrapped in sterling silver wire.  Contact Brio Gallery in Galena, IL if you'd like to have this bracelet for your very own!
