Curiosities

While rummaging through a cabinet, I found a basket filled with nifty things that I bought at the Bead&Button show last year.   These cabochans are made from old pool balls and I can't remember who I bought them from - I think the couple was from Texas.  These are rather large cabochans and will definitely command the focus of whatever pieces I make with them.  I think they'd look best set in a heavy, but very plain silver bezel pendant, but I can also see one bezeled with a variety of seed beads on a wide cuff.  I think I will need another fifty years added to my life to transform all the ideas floating around in my brain into real pieces!
