Has whetted my appetite to make more projects that will combine beading, polymer and metal clays, and chain maille techniques.  I love working in mixed media and find it challenging.  In anticipation I’ve ordered a slew of anodized niobium jump rings in a myriad of lush colors.   Although niobium is far more expensive than aluminum or base metals, it is still less costly than sterling silver.  It is also hypoallergenic rendering it a perfect material for those who are sensitive to other metals.   However, what attracts me most about the metal is its ability to accept color.  I’ve ordered very tiny jump rings - 2.4mm that require use of a magnifying glass to work, but I find them to be the perfect size to accompany seed beads!
