I’ve titled this mixed media brooch “Faux Fossil”. I’ve sawed a cutout on the backside of the brooch to expose  a peek at the texture and additional bronze metal clay faux fossil.  It just adds another element making the piece a bit more special.  The epoxy resin clay cabochon is held in place by four silver prongs.  Hammer-textured bronze wire was used to make the clasp and the brooch foundation is made of patinaed brass.  I think it’s a rather nice piece!
